A few years ago, the ability to surf the Internet using your PDA or cell phone without paying an arm or a leg for service was still a dream. Now that many of the major cellular carriers have rolled out high-speed networks, that dream has become a reality. Many businesses are following suit by creating mobile-enabled versions of their Web sites. These sites are much more PDA- and phone-friendly in both size and usability than their PC counterparts would be on the same device. The main difference in these sites is that their information is condensed into a single column with fewer graphics. Because the address for these mobile sites differs from the address you’d use on your PC, we’ve compiled a list of several mobile-enabled sites that can be accessed from a PDA or phone.
